Dear Pastor and Church,

Wow and Praise the Lord! is all we can say about a recent midweek service. Orsi had already talked with Patty before church but during the Bible lesson, she again asked, “How does one get saved?” Dan stopped the lesson and turned the time over to Zoltan who began answering her questions. After encouragements from all present, Orsi prayed and asked the Lord to save her!! She and her daughter, Laura, have been coming since the first English Club in early Sept. so this outreach is well worth the time and effort! Pray for Orsi’s growth and for Laura’s salvation.

November was a full month with a special evangelistic meeting and our annual church Thanksgiving Day where we invited several nearby churches and others to join us. All 67 who attended enjoyed the preaching of Zoltan and guest speaker, Tamas, the fellowship and the pork stew and 100 cabbage rolls that the ladies made!

The Christmas holidays are now upon us and we have lots of activities planned including a combined English club/teen “Mikulas” party the first Sat. of Dec. The following Sat. will be a special ladies meeting then on the 19th we will host our annual open house which has outgrown our house so will be held at the church. The children have already begun preparations for the Christmas program which will be presented on the 20th. The year will finish out with a special New Year’s Eve service of food and fellowship. We would ask that you pray for all these activities as we try to reach more Hungarians for the Lord Jesus Christ.

As the year draws to a close, we want to thank each of you for your faithful prayers and support. Without them we would not see salvations like Orsi’s or be able to carry out our ministries here in Hungary.

May the Lord give each of you a wonderful Christmas season and many blessings in the New Year.

In Christ,

The Peters

PS. Dan was recently diagnosed as having 7 bladder stones so will undergo surgery in early January. We’d appreciate your prayers for this surgery and his recovery. Thank you so much.
