Biography
I was born and raised in Texas, where I grew up as a PK, (preacher's kid) and although growing up "in church", it wasn't until I was 15 years old, that I truly came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
After receiving Christ, I made myself available to go and do whatever He asked of me, and just a year later, I began to have a burden for the mission field.
During my first semester of Bible college I met Bill, and that following spring we were married, that was almost 23 years ago, wow how time flies when you blink!
During our college years, we had our first born Tiffany in 1986, and then Heather came in 1989.
We had the opportunity to start out working and ministering at North Park Baptist in 1988-1990, and in the spring of 1990, Tiffany just 3 years old, and Heather only 6 months, we moved to Alberquerque NM, where we lived and Bill directed Singing Hills Youth Camp until the year 1998.
We spent those years at Singing Hills, serving, ministering, growing, and raising our two daughters. But in the spring of 98, the Lord began to guide us in the direction that Bill and I had been praying about separately and unknowing to the other, and that was to go to the foreign mission field.
In 1998, we knew the Lord had prepared the way, and we headed off into yet another season and new adventures for the Crawford family. With the Lord going before us each step of the way, we are where we are today, living and serving in Eastern Germany.
We have been in Germany for 7 years now. Tiffany, now married, with her husband John Sullivan, are preparing their lives for the mission field. And to see Heather, also begin Bible College in the fall of 2007, and is preparing for her life for ministry. I can say, without regret, I am glad that we have trusted the Lord and His promises, and as the Bible says, put your trust in the Lord and not in man. PS.118:8 Because our faith, would not be where it is today, if it had not been for us trusting in, relying on, and following after the leading of the Lord in our lives.
