Dear Friends,

December 4th, Jean and I returned to Belgium. We had been out of the country for a total of 10 weeks and were thrilled to be back at home. As I get older I realize that furlough and deputation are taxing on the body as well as the mind. We had planned on being stateside from September until May but decided that since we had no meeting from December until March thatClick picture for a closer look and use your browser's back button to return we would head back here. We leave again at the end of February. The church here has done very well during my absence. Chris and Becky did an excellent job. I have been reminding the church that they are not here to replace me but to learn and then move on to another city and start a church.

Thanksgiving Sunday was November 30th for our work. Normally Belgians do not celebrate Thanksgiving but our people want to eat turkey and dressing. We do a special service of Thanksgiving and then have dinner. There were 23 first time visitors for the day, Chris and Becky did a great job making new contacts and inviting the neighborhood. We are doing follow up on these visitors.

We had been preparing and inviting for some time and the Lord blessed the effort. There were 11 first time visitors and we were excited about the effort that our people made to invite and bring people. We are praying God will allow us to touch their lives with his message.
We need a car for March in the Midwest area. We will then need a car on the West Coast for the month of April. If you have a spare or a loaner and would be willing to let Jean and me use it to travel, please let me know. My email address is larrytbelge@yahoo.com or larrytbelge@skynet.be.

Thank you for your support and the opportunity to preach the gospel in Belgium. Your aid and support are appreciated.

Your missionary in Belgium,
Larry Taylor
