Bulgaria Family Photos Updates Contact Us Ministry Home
April 2007

Dear Friends,

After several months of waiting, being told tomorrow, next week, next month and then next year the
deed is finally done. The loan was secured and we were finally able to buy our church building. Now
the Christian Baptist Church of Sofia has a permanent place of worship and a place that they can
continue to grow and reach their community for Christ. I would like to personally thank all of you who
sacrificially gave so that we could make this dream come true. There is still much to be done and a
$150,000 loan to be paid off, but we are rejoicing in what God has done and are looking forward to
what He is going to do in the future.

Speaking of the future, it is amazing to me that 4 years have already passed and it is furlough time
again. Please be in prayer that we will have the people in place to carry on the ministries at the
Christian Baptist Church. Pray that we are able to rent our house for the year we are gone so that we
can use the funds to pay for the ministry expenses that will continue to exist here. And pray that we
will not get too stressed out trying to get everything done that needs to be done in the next few
months. If you would like us to come by and report to your church while we are home, whether in
your missions’ conference or at another time please contact me.

Last month I preached a short series on knowing God’s will for your life, being what God wants you
to be and being right where God wants you to be. After the last sermon, one of the men in the church
came up to me and asked how he would know if he was where God wanted him to be. We talked
about it and he has now started reading his Bible every day and praying and he is also coming to a
weekly Bible study so that he can be discipled. Please pray for Krasi as he seeks to know God’s will
for his life.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. We realize that without your involvement in the work
here in Bulgaria we would not be able to be here.

Blessings,

Steve Swann
