English Club
Another tool we use to acquaint ourselves with the Russian people is our
weekly English Club meeting. This is an opportunity to capitalize on our
skills as native English speakers. We started this ministry in the
summer of 2010 and have seen people visit our church as a result and
several of the students are on the verge of getting saved. We divide the
students into two groups; beginner and intermediate, have a lesson on a
particular topic and then come together as one group at the end to see
what the Bible says about that topic. Recently our conversation topic
was ‘Choices’ and our Bible verse was John 3:3- a choice that all of us
must make sometime in our lives of whether to be born again or not. We
average 10-15 adult students at our meetings. Please pray for God to use
this to bring souls to Him.
If you live in the Moscow area and would be interested in attending either our church or our English Club, the lessons are located at Roshenskya 8, in the city of Domodedovo. We meet each Friday night at 19:00. (There will be no lessons in the month of August but they will resume on September 10th, 2010)
