Dear Pastor and Friends, News from Hungary Thanks to today's wonderful technology, we can keep in touch with Zoltan and Eva almost on a daily basis. They reported that on November 9th they had their Thanksgiving service with 50 in attendance! They had invited a couple of other area churches and said that it was a wonderful service. It is such an encouragement to hear of God's blessings and their faithfulness. Several are going with Zoltan and Eva to another town November 15th for a leader's conference conducted by another missionary. We are praying and ask that you pray as well, that God will call Zoltan to be the national pastor of our church. Summer Possibilities Baseball camps have been such a successful outreach that we will continue them. Zoltan is holding practices and games during the year and has asked if a group will be coming this summer. So far no one has talked with us about coming to Hungary to help us with the baseball camp. If a teen or an adult group would like to come in July 2009 to help us, please let us know as soon as possible. Beginning in January, those holding camps during the summer start advertising in the schools so the sooner we have something set, the better chances we have of having a large group. You may contact us at: danpeters@bbfi.org. At this time of Thanksgiving, we'd like to thank each of you for your faithful prayers and support and special gifts along the way. We are happy that our exchange rate for the time being is much better so it gives us more buying power. We are thankful for those who have increased our support which has been a great help to us. In His Service, |
