Dear Pastor and Church,

What do Baseball and English have in common? Camps! This summer, 10 days after our arrival from furlough, we held two camps: Baseball July 13-17 and English Camp July 27-31 and both were a great success. For our third annual baseball camp we had 55 kids attend and the two groups, beginners and advanced, had a great time learning and playing. Two fathers came and helped as well as a young American couple from Romania. At the closing program each child received a certificate, a ribbon, a new baseball and a new hat thanks to those individuals and churches who supplied the items for us.

The English Camp went very well with 23 kids participating and a group of ladies from Sauk Trail Baptist Temple as their teachers and encouragers! By the end of camp, we saw 7 boys make professions of faith and the following Sunday a teen girl received Christ as Saviour. Gina had attended the baseball and English camps last year (her sister was saved last year). She had many questions and after the team returned to the states, she came to the church services and afterwards talked with Zoltan. He was able to lead her to the Lord and you could see such a radiance in her face afterwards. She wrote on her Facebook page, “Yesterday I got saved!!! Thank you Zoltán! :) Now I am okay.” Please pray for Gina to grow in the Lord.

Our fall program has already begun with the first men’s prayer breakfast and the first Sunshine Club (for English learners) held this past Saturday. Two of the boys from the camps came with their mom, Rita, and she brought a friend, Orsi, and her daughter and both ladies asked if they could stay for the club which was great! Both ladies and their children came to church yesterday (Sept 6th) and have enjoyed all the meetings that they have attended. They have promised to come for the first ladies meeting the second Sat. of Sept. Please pray for the salvation of Rita and Orsi and their children: Alex, Sebastian, and Laura.

When you are trying to do something for the Lord, Satan doesn’t like it! We have had some people not be as faithful as before and that is a discouragement. Please pray for two of our ladies who are in some very stressful situations at this time.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support. It means so much to us to know we have faithful prayer partners on our behalf. May the Lord bless each of you.

In Christ,

The Peters
