January 3, 2012

Dear Friends,

It’s hard to believe that it’s already 2012, but it’s here, and we are so thankful for what the Lord is doing. Our last two Sundays have been fantastic as there has been a wonderful spirit as both Christmas and New Year’s Day fell on Sunday. For both of those services we had visitors, and are excited about the opportunities for more growth in our church. We are also very excited to have a new family join our ministry team. Robert and Rachel Krzesiński and their three children Eli, Josiah, and Layla, joined with us last month to help continue building the ministry here in Warsaw.

Robert is Polish and his wife is an American who spent her teenage years in Poland while her parents were missionaries in the northern part of the country. They are a very sweet couple who have a tremendous passion to serve the Lord and reach people for Christ. We count it a privilege to have them as part of our ministry team and are really looking forward to what God has prepared for our church. We really ask for your prayers that over the next six months before we head back to the States for our one year furlough that the Lord would really solidify the church for when we are gone. We know that Robert and Rachel will do a wonderful job but ask for your prayers during that transitional time.

We also want to let you know that we still have quite a few dates still available for when we will be home on furlough. We will be in the States starting this summer and continuing until the beginning of the summer of 2013. If you haven’t contacted us yet, but would like for us to come in and give a report to your church, or would like us for a conference, please let us know as soon as possible before our schedule gets more crowded. If you haven’t contacted us yet, but are one of our supporting churches, we will be making phone calls starting in February.

One last piece of personal information that we wanted to share with you is that in November Amber’s brother, Danny, trusted in Christ as his personal Savior. It has been so amazing to see the total change that God has brought about in his life. For those of you who have been praying for a loved one for a long time, never stop praying. God is faithful!

Co-Laborers for Christ,

Derrick & Amber Lewright
