Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your prayers. We finally have a new location for our church! Things took a little bit longer than we had hoped for, but the Lord knew what he was doing, as He always does. Our new location is much more centrally located in Ursynów, the region of Warsaw where we are ministering. It is within 2 minutes of a main subway station and has a bus route running right in front of it. It is also much more visible, as well as more inviting for visitors. We are renting the facility on Sundays right now but will also be able to use the same location for outreaches and evangelistic events at other times as well during the week. In addition to all of those other positives, the rent we are paying is also cheaper than where we were before. The Lord answered our prayers very specifically, and we are praising Him for His goodness and for this new location which will give us a great opportunity to expand our ministry in our little corner of Warsaw.

Our second important piece of ministry news is that we are now starting to make our schedule for our first full furlough that we will be taking starting this coming summer and continuing until the summer of 2013. After being in Poland for nine years, and only being able to spend a total of five months on furlough during that time, we realize that it is necessary to take the entire year to be able to report back to churches and give personal updates on what the Lord is doing here in Poland. We already have a couple of conferences scheduled for next year and are now starting to work on filling in dates for the time we will be in the States. If you would like to have us in to give a report or for a conference, please let us know as soon as possible and we can figure out a date that will work.

This past week was also an exciting time for our family in that we now have a teenager in the house! Our oldest son, Hayden, turned thirteen last week. It’s hard to believe he’s already a teenager. Time goes by so quickly. Teenage years will definitely pose new challenges to face, but also exciting opportunities to grow closer together as a family and a time for children to become more responsible and independent. We thank you so much for your prayers for our family, as well as the ministry here. The Lord is good, and we are thankful that He has given us the opportunity to serve here in Warsaw.

Co-Laborers for Christ,

Derrick & Amber Lewright
