Please pray for Danny he remains unsaved though he attends faithfully every Sunday morning. Danny teaches plumbing at South Birmingham College. He was raised in the Church of God and we are striving to answer his questions and point him to Christ. Janet was saved and baptised last year.

Mission Weekend
In May we had a missions boost. With us were Mary Herman, Missionary Teacher and Michelle Harrision from Iceland. Of course Sally was with us as well! We focused in single women by showing videos from Shelly Henderson in Tanzania and Marjorie Browning in Two-Brother's Swamp, Brazil. Our people were impressed with the fact that God is not limited to who He chooses to use! There is no excuse for not obeying the call of God upon our lives. He is the God who overcomes all obstacles!
Family Night is a monthly event. We cook a meal for the families and invite them to the church at teatime (5:00). Then, we play games with the children and adults. This affords them time for fellowship. Many of our families live away from the local church community and this way the children and adults get a time of fellowship outside the normal services. We have found that this has helped in making the church more of a family. They often bring friends who would not otherwise come to a church meeting! So...it is a witnessing tool as well!

Youth Rally is a ministry overseen by our missionary daughter, Sally. This is a pic of our group ready for the Bible Quiz. England is a place where ministry among the teens is only limited by funds and personnel. Sally is finding that there is a great need for more of both in order to reach this ready harvest. There is a great need for people who would devote their time and energy through the missionary churches to reach the teens. A missionary must spread himself so thin that youth ministry is rarely effective. Pray with us that God will place a burden upon others for the youth of the world.
