Dear Friends:

This month marks 25 years that we have been on the field of England! As we look at all that the Lord is doing around us it is marvelous!

Our first work, Temple Baptist, baptized two last month. They have also called Bro. Paul Williams as Associate Pastor with the plan of becoming Pastor within the next twelve months. By next February they will be breaking ground on their much needed building extension. They are saving at a great rate and really growing spiritually and as a church family.

Our second work, Kingsmead, is full of young men training for ministry and young Christians.  They baptized five in April and just keep growing.

The third work, Askoy in Norway, is getting better known in the community and people are starting to visit as families and not simply sending their children. We visited there in April and were very encouraged. The Lord has even provided the Haukelands a home of their own near to the Prayer House where the church meets. It has been amazing to see the Lord provide as they went as Tent Maker missionaries only two years ago.

Our fourth work, Hope, was organized on May 26th and Bro Ian Hutchings was ordained and called as their pastor on the same day! What a service! As we looked over the crowd it was humbling to think that this was all fruit from 25 years of service; fruit that you share with us! They baptized five last month. Praise the Lord.

We added another grandchild in May as well. Gabriella Joy was born to Chad and Jennifer on May 12th. That makes grandchild number nine and holding!

Those of you praying about the tax situation in Britain might like to know that the pressure is on the government to make changes. Multi-national companies are complaining and even pulling out due to the change in taxation. Let’s keep praying, because the government will be much more likely to hear complaints from people who hold the purse strings than those of us promoting the gospel, but the outcome could still be for our benefit. God is still able to control the hearts of men…and even the governments!

Prices continue to rise. A Big Mac meal is now $8 and a gallon of gas is over the $10 mark. London is officially the most expensive place to live in the world. God already knows that and sent us two new churches this past month who added us to their missionary families! Living by faith is  always an adventure!
