Dear Friends,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and
your giving just like Paul expressed his thanksgiving for financial
help he received. The joy of giving to missions is that we labour to
bring fruit to your account. “but I desire fruit that may abound
to your account.” Phl. 4:17
In April we had two professions of faith and that is fruit to your
account, praise the Lord! Ruth, a Kenyan lady, came while my wife
was doing a ladies study on the book of Ruth and she asked Jesus to
come into her heart and save her. Though she is now moved to France
with her children, we praise God for the timing and opportunity to
lead this soul to Christ. Gianni, who comes from the troubled region
of Bosnia and Serbia, confessed Christ as Lord and he is faithful in
coming to church. Gianni has a desire for the Word of God.
There have been some bumps in the road at the Refugee Center, but we
are all safe and continue to minister to these needy people. For
Resurrection Celebration my wife distributed $2,000, that the Lord
richly provided, among 140 children. She also taught these Muslim
children songs about Jesus and it was a joy to hear these little
ones sing Jesus Love me in Iranian; we pray that these songs will be
hidden in their hearts and that they may find Jesus on their journey
in life.
Praise
the Lord for those who responded to the need to help these refugees,
Thank You!.
Pray to God to open a door of opportunity to minister to thousands
of refugees in Patra also.
Pray for our health. I had to spend 5 days in the hospital for
Bronchitis, $6,500 later, I am recovering at home now.
Pray for a miracle for April’s baby (he has Down’s syndrome —she is
due Sep14th).
Thank you for giving to the Lord
