Dear Friends,

         We praise the Lord for missions, missionaries, and missions minded churches. This month we have been blessed with visitors from different parts of the world, which remind us of the great commission. We had a group of MK’s from Portugal, led by Lionel Martin’s son, Randy. Then Pablo visited us from California and told us that Phil Brown led him to the Lord in Mexico. A couple of days later, Larry Stringfield contacted us from Kenya to contact Lisa and Margaret who are now living in Athens, fruit of his ministry. A young man from our church here, who is studying in England, met a young lady, who was led to the Lord by Dr. Harju’s daughter, Vicki Hoving. Can you see the connection? All of these gave testimony of their gratitude to missionaries and missions minded churches, and we share in their gratitude.

          We are reminded everyday of God’s blessings and we thank Him for each and every day we get to spend serving Him in Greece. Every soul is precious in His sight and we are privileged to be able to be a part of bringing people to Christ. Several years ago we led Panagioti to the Lord. In the recent years Panagioti suffered with cancer, but he drew closer to the Lord through his pain. He fought hard to stay in this life, for the sake of his wife, Tula, and his two children. But the week before the Resurrection, Panagioti wrote in his Bible, “I found encouragement in this verse, Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness,” and he went home to be with the Lord. We rejoice in his salvation for we know that he is in a better place and that because you cared enough to send us here to share the gospel with the lost in Greece. Thank you for giving to the Lord.
