Dear Friends,

We rejoice in the Lord, for the privilege He has bestowed upon us to be back again in the land of Greece, “Faithful is He who calleth you, who also will do it.” I Thessalonians 5:24. God has called us to minister to the saints and evangelize the lost in Greece and He has provided the therapy and healing and through His power we will do it.

We arrived in Athens in the Christmas Season, full of lights and color, joyous people walking in the mild cold weather. It brought us joy to see a city of light, yet the realization that they lie in darkness deeply saddened our heart.

The Lord also gave us the privilege to move back into the original apartment where we first moved into in 1995 and we lead our first Greek couple to the Lord. Our old neighbors here were excited to see us back and did everything to get us the apartment, please pray that we may lead them to salvation. To this day, our boxes with personal stuff that we shipped back to Greece have not yet arrived, mainly due to a massive strike in the Greek ports, causing chaos for everyone during Christmas shopping season.

It has been a blessing all month, as several families have opened their homes for Bible studies and prayer meetings in various places in Athens, as well as in Corinth, Thiva, and the island of Evia. The Lord has privileged us to go back and meet several people to whom we had sowed the seed several years ago, and now they are asking for us to come. Pray that the Holy Spirit will prepare their hearts, for the Greeks seek after worldly wisdom and not the wisdom of God.

I Corinthians 1:22-24 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
