Dear Friends,

This has to be the best season of the year.  Spring is finally showing its face.  The Sun is warming the earth and the flowers are covering the mountains and the roadsides with indescribable beauty.  The trees that were burnt from the ice stand as a sore to our eyes among the beauty of the new sprouts and buds everywhere, soon to be overshadowed by its green leaves and new life.  I praise the Lord for new life, the new life that this season brings and the celebration of the New Life that the Resurrection Day brings us.  Αληθώς

Our prayer is that this season will be a blessing to all and that above all things that we will see new life here in Greece.  We pray and we ask you to pray with us, that God will stretch out His hand of Mercy and pour out His blessings upon this land in darkness. After we read many reports and testimonies of the reaction of people that saw the film, “The Passion of the Christ” in the states, we prayed, “May God touch the hearts of the Greek people in that same manner.”  But to our disappointment but not surprise, the reaction reported of the Greek people was not one of emotion nor tenderheartedness. The reports here were that many people here left the film with disgust, mocking, and totally untouched by the suffering of Christ.  Their emotions are still remain attached to the idolatrous worship of His “Mother.”

As the sand in the hour glass rushes down in the count down to the Olympics, please pray with me that God with reach down into this idolatrous nation and soften their heart unto salvation as so many are preparing an outpouring of evangelism never seen nor allowed in the country before.  Pray for souls to be saved.  Pray that God will have mercy upon Greece.
